About the role:
We are looking for a summer student who will learn about clinical research and the pharma industry. The student will be introduce to the CTA position and assist the current CTAs in their role. The student will mainly interact with the study start-up team.
The role reports directly into the SSO Study Start-Up Team Lead and will work closely with the Study Start-up Team.
Temporary position: from 12-May-2025 to 28-Aug-2025
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the training Clinical Trial Assistants (CTAs)
- Collaborate with the CTAs and trial site personnel with their study start-up activities
- Support CTAs with the collection of regulatory documents and upload to eTMF (trial master file).
- Communicate with sites for trial related issues or missing documentation.
- Maintain integrity of tracking tool database and Clinical Trial Management System in order to help us monitor studies progress.
Essential Requirements:
- Scientific/Research Degree ongoing either bachelor or master level.
- Demonstrate competence in managing multiple priorities and projects on tight deadlines while maintaining top quality deliverables.
- Very good oral and written communications skills in French and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems and technologies
- Positive attitude and Results oriented

- Ability to prioritize and high coordination skills
- Demonstrated collaboration skills
